Listed for $25 million a year ago, the house has sat on the market unsold since.

The huge new Brightline MiamiCentral train station terminal—a pun on Grand Central, which in the minds of Miamians it clearly evokes—is opening this weekend. Technically a terminal, because all trains end here, it is massive, with enough overhead platforms for both the Brightline intercity rail line and Tri-Rail, which will make its downtown Miami debut here. The Latest Buildings Going Up, Topping Off, and Nearing Completion in Edgewater

Edgewater, the large neighborhood lining Biscayne Bay immediately north of Miami’s urban core, is still booming. Seven residential condominium towers are either under construction or in closings, with multiple rental apartment buildings under construction as well, and a plethora of other buildings have opened within the last ten or so years.

The Junior League of Miami debuted its 2018 showhouse at the Deering Estate in Culter, giving a slew of talented interior designers free reign to redecorate the interiors of the historic structure. Debuting with a gala opening, the showhouse was open to visitors from April 25th to 29th.

One of Coconut Grove's historic and exotic Chinese Village houses is back on the market after flipping on and off for the last few years, with a price cut of about $700,000 from its high in 2015. Listed for $1.175 million now, in 2018, the house was on the market for $1.6M back in 2016, and $1.895M in 2015, at the peak of the real estate boom.
