The huge new Brightline MiamiCentral train terminal—a pun on Grand Central, which in the minds of Miamians it clearly evokes—is massive Technically a terminal, because all trains end here, the tracks, platforms, and even the concourse are all elevated over the street, with cross streets passing straight under the structure. There are enough overhead platforms for both the Brightline intercity rail line and Tri-Rail, which makes its downtown Miami debut here too.
