Robert Rivani, Who Bought The Retail Space at Zaha Hadid’s One Thousand Museum, Has a “Game Of Thrones” Themed House

A few days ago, the Wall Street Journal published a tour of real estate investor Robert Rivani’s Beverly Hills Home, a place inspired by a curious mashup of Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, and Alice in Wonderland.

Over the last year, Rivani has been snapping up shiny retail spaces at South Beach’s Marea, Downtown Miami’s One Thousand Museum tower, designed by starchitect Zaha Hadid, and a penthouse or two, including one at the Ritz Carlton Residences Miami Beach. He intends to use the penthouse as a Miami residence and an investment. Rivani certainly has a charmed life. Perhaps spending $50,000 on a copy of the iron throne from Game of Thrones has something to do with that, but it also just sounds like fun. Whether or not he can make the contemporary Pierro Lisonni design of the Ritz match his preferred medieval motif is anybody’s guess.
