El Tucán, that magnificent cabaret in Brickell, with its elaborate live floor shows, has had a renovation to allow it to become a nightclub with dancing later in the evening. Of course, the cabaret shows will continue, and now they have a dance floor for those shows to spill out on too. This is what is called a 'floor show.' And floor shows are incredible. Let's hope for a few numbers with ladies in very big headdresses.
Nightlife legend Susanne Bartsch has a monthly super gay cabaret extravaganza at Brickell's El Tucà n called Susanne Bartsch Presents the Bareback Follies, and having already come in December and January, it's back for its February incarnation on the 28th. Last month's show was an absolute ball (I got on the stage twice!), but each month is a little different.
