Former Site of the Bal Harbour Yacht Club Lists for a Whopping $65 Million

Sadly demolished, the Bal Harbour Yacht Club was a magnificent piece of subtropical modern architecture designed by seminal South Florida architect Alfred Browning Parker, in the heart of the exclusive community of Bal Harbour, Florida. 'Environmental Modernism: the Architecture of [Strang]' is rich with photography, floor plans, and renderings of his work. Although mostly luxurious houses, the book also contains some of his urban planning, high-end condominium buildings, and his pavilion at the Kampong.
