OLA, a ‘Mango Gang’ South Florida Mainstay, Reopens at the Gates Hotel

OLA, the South Florida mainstay that served creative latin cuisine at the Sanctuary Hotel for fourteen years, until it was damaged by Hurricane Irma in 2017, has just reopened at South Beach's Gates Hotel after moving around for a few years. Always a happening place at the Sanctuary, the restaurant hopes to continue its success with a new executive chef, Chris Castro.

Sterling Market Food Hall Planned for Lincoln Road, Anchored by Mr. Bing

The large former Design Within Reach space next to Books & Books, in the rear of Lincoln Road's historic Sterling Building, is slated to become a food hall called the Sterling Market. One of the future tenants, Mr. Bing, the Wynwood shaved ice cream parlor, has already opened in a temporary fashion near the front of the space.

Piola is Reopening on Washington Avenue in June (And is Still Famosi Per La Pizza)

Piola, the Italian restaurant and pizzeria that's been a long-time local favorite and was located just off Lincoln Road on Alton util the landlord jacked up the rent, is reopening at its new location on 7th Street and Washington Avenue in June according to a rep from the restaurant.
