Last week, the Miami Beach Design Review Board approved Stuart Miller's latest Star Island mega-mansion, a gigantic mashup of a Bond villain lair, the Batcave, a Balinese resort, and even the faint whiff of a brutalist office building thrown for sheer shock and awe.
The luxury Brazilian furnishings brand Artefacto, which has long had a big presence in Miami (its owner lives here), had a mini groundbreaking ceremony early this month on its new US flagship store in Coral Gables.
DOMO Architecture, which has designed some creatively swoopy stuff around town, designed this place in mid-beach a couple years ago for Todd Michael Glazer, the prolific developer of big contemporary houses on Miami Beach. Completed in 2016, the foot house has an L-shaped pool, a completely open plan first floor, and four bedrooms upstairs.
