Ximena Caminos, who blew into town alongside her now ex-husband, Alan Faena, to buy up much of Mid Beach and turn it all into the Faena District, a theatrical, over-the-top, and fantastical mini-neighborhood, is selling her unique home on Pine Tree Drive in Miami Beach for $6.25 million.

The historic, Mediterranean Revival mansion was built in 1928. Ms. Caminos bought the house for $4 million in 2016, renovating and adding her own flaire to it. The 6,828 square foot pile has 7 bedrooms, 9 baths, an elaborate swimming pool with fountains and built-in chaise longues, a poolside loggia with mirrored glass tiles, a lushly landscaped loggia, and a dining room painted with fantastic wall murals in turquoise. The house is being listed by the Alexander Team.

Full disclosure: I was hired by the real estate agent to hire the listing description for this house.
