Meticulously Redone Med Revival on Miami Beach’s Flamingo Drive Asks $9.8 Million

Check out this extensively renovated historic Mediterranean Revival waterfront house located on Indian Creek and Flamingo Drive in Miami Beach. Built in 1934, the 10,230 square foot property has nine bedrooms, 11 baths, a large living room with a grand vaulted ceiling and pointed arch window, pool, very formal dining room, courtyard, and pergolas for days.

Renovation is by Katherine Newman & Peter Cebulak, the interiors are bathed in warm, neutral colors. Some of the original details remain–at least the ones that work with a trendy redo such as this–including the barrel tile roof, the beamed ceilings, and the fabulous tile in one of the powder rooms, but otherwise the house has been updated up the wazoo, to the point where it’s even kind of hard to tell it’s old at all. The broker’s spiel even describes it as a “newly constructed” house.

As if the house isn’t big enough already (come on, you can always go bigger), it comes with a four bedroom, five bed guest house on the side. The whole shebang is on the market for $9.8 million.
