The top penthouse at the Mansions at Acqualina, part of the decadent Acqualina resort that’s so popular with Russian oligarchs and their mistresses, has sold for a whopping $27 million. According to a publicist, that makes it the third most expensive condo sale in Miami-Dade County, ever.
17875 Collins Ave, PH47 features 4 beds, 7 baths, and a sprawling 9,103-sq.ft. of interiors, with ceilings from 15 to 30 feet in height. There are lots of luxurious features, such as marble flooring throughout, 18″-high stone baseboards, and two grand salons, but the real showstopper is that pool, which literally hangs off the side of the building. The image provided to the Big Bubble is merely a rendering, but I can personally attest to the fact that I have been in that pool when the building was under construction. It was empty at the time, but the clear acrylic wall of the pool extended under you, becoming part of the pool floor. Standing on that acrylic was wild and exhilarating. I can only imagine what it will be like to swim in it.
They’ll be delivering Beluga Gold Vodka and Ecstasy to the condo by the crate.
