Inside Three Unique Model Units at the Ritz-Carlton Residences Miami Beach

The Ritz-Carlton Residences Miami Beach may have been completed almost a year ago, but the developers have just unveiled three unique model units, with interiors designed by three Italian furniture brands: Baxter, B&B Italia, and Flexform.

The nature of the project – a giant, rambling building built in the guts of a former hospital – means that every unit floor plan itself is unique, with lots of interesting nooks and crannies, and 20 private elevators leading to private elevator foyers in most of the condos. When most condo projects include maybe four or five standardized floor plans that are multiplied throughout the building, the Ritz-Carlton’s 111 units are designed in an eye-popping variety of shapes and sizes.

Although the developers gave each brand the freedom to furnish and decorate its respective unit to highlight the variety of floor plans on offer, they also feature the standard developer fixtures and finishes, which are quite nice. Each unit comes with stone floors in all common areas, and rich stonework in the bathrooms, as well as wood flooring in the bedrooms. Along with glass-enclosed rain showers, the bathrooms also have freestanding tubs.
