Canvas, an art-festooned condo tower in Miami’s so-called ‘Arts and Entertainment’ district, has just received its permanent certificate of occupancy. The 37-story condominium tower has over 225 original pieces of art, including, perhaps most distinctively, large wall murals in the hallways, and a mix of studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom units ranging in size from 650 to 1,205 square feet.

The building has sunrise and sunset pools (so one when is in the shade, the other is sunny), a fitness center, a yoga room, and spa amenities. It also has 30,000 square feet of amenity space on the 9th floor deck. Canvas is one of the few condos in Miami to receive Fannie Mae approval, which allows qualified buyers to receive up to 97% financing. They just announced the final approval in a statement.

Residents have already begun moving into the building, which just had grand opening party that supposedly included synchronized swimmers. Canvas is in that odd neighborhood, south of Wynwood but north of Downtown, that’s kind of dead but close to everything. The Metromover is blocks away, as well as the Adrienne Arsht Center, Museum Park, Edgewater, and Wynwood. Dubbed the ‘Arts and Entertainment District,’ but also known as the Omni District, it’s one of those Miami neighborhoods that’s primed for a boom. Check out photos inside the completed building, below.
