Construction of the northern phase of the Miami Design District is well underway, including the extension of the Paseo Ponti pedestrian street terminating at a new northern plaza, a tall mixed use building known as Design41, and the Institute of Contemporary Art. I recently published a photo update of construction progress at the museum. Meanwhile, back on 40th Street, Maison Martin Margiela is moving into a location and Casa Cielo is coming to the district.
