The Bass Museum may not be open in time for Art Basel this year, but Miami Beach’s premier art museum will have something new to show off for the international art fair in December.

Last week, the Bass installed  a monolithic tower of brightly colored boulders by artist Ugo Rondinone called ‘Miami Mountain’ in Collins Park, in front of the museum and just off Collins Avenue. According to the Bass’ Facebook page, Miami Mountain has been added to the museum’s collection, and is permanently installed in Collins Park.

So, what do you think?
